On the approach to the city of Brno in the area of the public transport depot, we designed a modern parking structure with a characteristic façade inspired by the neon stripes that became a symbol of motorsport and the future in America in the 1950s.

The current depot, which began operations roughly half a century ago, will undergo a major renovation and long-needed modernisation to bring it into the 21st century. The gradually stacked and scattered buildings are unified by the proposal into several compact masses, the most striking of which is the new two-storey car park with a service hall and car wash.

The formerly strictly separate trolleybus and bus operations have been linked, which will allow for a clearer arrangement of the depot area. An advantage of this solution is the possibility of joint use of the diagnostic hall and the newly unified driver dispatch area. The relocation of the separate entrances of trolleybuses and buses into one intersection will bring better traffic connections to Hviezdoslavova Street.
