The reconstruction of the interior of the Lesná health centre was designed with respect to the original material solution by architect Libuše Kopřivíková – with the exception of the main entrance, which had been filled with deposits of minor changes over the years and has therefore been simplified and cleaned up. Visitors can now admire the original material of the concrete ceiling as well as the renovated original mosaic from 1975 by the Vašica couple. A contemporary layer of circular light fixtures and glass tiling in a neutral colour scheme has been added to the space, giving a nod to the original authentic concrete and mosaic structures. The lobby is now complemented by a reception area where trained staff are available to inform visitors about the healthcare services provided.
The formerly separate paediatric ward has been connected to the main entrance. The children's area has been expanded to include two new consulting rooms with a waiting area, one of which has been designed – with young patients in mind – with organically shaped linoleum on the floor and original light fixtures.
Green mosaic and wooden tiles have been returned to the walls with respect to the original design. A new unified information system will make the building easier to navigate.
