It is the largest police complex in the region and one of the largest in the Czech Republic. It accommodates a wide array of police units, including patrol services, district offices, territorial divisions, criminal investigation units, and more. Within the city of Most, it ranks as the second tallest building and is unquestionably one of the city's landmarks.

Its imposing size and distinctive architecture not only make a visual impact but also instill a sense of trust and security for all who visit. It represents professionalism, dedication, and collaboration among all involved police units, while reassuring the community of their safety and protection.

The primary design principle focuses on respecting the building's original character while optimizing its spatial layout, improving functionality, and enhancing comfort for users. Ensuring flexibility in the spaces is crucial, allowing for various office configurations to meet current and future needs. Architecturally, there is an emphasis on preserving the façade's articulation and colour scheme. It is important to maintain the proportion of stone cladding on each side of the building and to remove non-original intrusive elements over time, such as the extended entrance vestibule for the district office and other façade interventions.
